Astra

A free price oracle that speaks Pyth's Hermes API. Move a Hermes client to it by changing one URL.

Astra serves avee's composite index, built from exchange order books, over the same routes and JSON shapes as Pyth's Hermes. A bot, backend, UI or keeper that reads Hermes today reads Astra by changing its base URL.

Host: https://astra.preview.avee.tech (preview). Routes are served from the root of the host.

What you get

  • Hermes routes: latest prices, prices at a time and over an interval, SSE and WebSocket streams, and the v1 routes older clients still call.
  • Pyth feed IDs work. When a feed measures the same thing as a Pyth feed, its Pyth ID resolves to it. See Feeds.
  • Native routes for what Hermes has no field for: each feed's live status and source count, and candles.
  • No key, open CORS. An Authorization header is accepted and ignored.

What it is not

Astra prices are not signed. binary.data is always empty, so on-chain Pyth verification cannot work. Read Compatibility before pointing a contract integration at it.
