How avee compares

Keyless access, x402 on every operation and a keyless MCP server, set against other market-data APIs.

Most market-data APIs were built for a developer with a dashboard and a key. An agent has neither. Here is where avee is ahead for that reader, and where others are close.

Where avee is ahead

  • Pay per call on every operation, at the same URL. Past the free budget, any priced operation takes an x402 payment where it stands. CoinGecko's x402 covers five endpoints under a separate /x402/ path; CoinMarketCap's is in beta and Birdeye's excludes WebSocket.
  • Free first, then pay. The keyless budget comes before any payment, so light use costs nothing and an agent pays only for what exceeds it.
  • From $0.002 a call. CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap and Nansen charge $0.01 for their basic x402 call; our heaviest call costs that, the lightest a fifth of it.
  • Three settlement networks. USDC on Base, Arbitrum or Solana. CoinMarketCap settles on Base only, CoinGecko on Base and Solana.
  • A keyless MCP server with payments. No key and no sign-in to connect, and the same x402 path past the budget. Birdeye's and Moralis' MCP servers need a key, Bitquery's an OAuth sign-in.
  • A keyless oracle. Pyth Hermes has required an API key since 2026-08-26. Astra answers Hermes' routes and JSON with none.
  • One API from launch to liquidation. DEX pairs and candles, signed token verdicts, wallet PnL, perps and oracle prices, with SDKs for Node, Go and Python, llms.txt and agent skills.

Where others are close: DexScreener and DexPaprika also serve data without a key, and CoinGecko runs a keyless remote MCP server. None of them takes a payment on every operation.
